STATIC LOAD TEST

We have developed an advanced screwpile system that can determine the load-bearing capacity of the ground based on the end-bearing and skin-friction capacities of the installed pile. Our equipment can measure the axial stress at the pile tip, lateral stress along the pile shaft and also pore-water pressure at the tip and along the shaft. We apply axial load at the pile head and constantly measure these parameters along with the pile penetration until reaching the ultimate capcity. 

With the developed testing rig we are able to clarify an optimum pile length to satisfy the required safe working loads suggested by the structrual engineer.

Throughout our career, we have witnessed many design proposals that were not based on the ground real condition with the note that most failures in saturated clays may hapen during the construction. 

Therefore, in order to provide a safe design based on AS2159 standard for future residents of residential and commercial buildings, we provide static load testing on a trial pile at the site. We analyse the results carefully and will adjust our design.
